We combine science, technology, and thoughtful design to make the invisible more visible and the complex more accessible. Our products are designed to bring scientific knowledge into everyday life — giving people a clearer understanding of the world around them and the tools to make more informed choices.

We are interested in both sides of light: the light we need to protect ourselves from and the light we can benefit from. As our understanding of light evolves, so does the potential for technology to help us interact with it in better ways.

We don't believe you need to be an expert to benefit from science. Technology should meet people where they are — intuitive enough for everyday life, while grounded in meaningful science.

Karliie was founded in Copenhagen in 2026, a city where light disappears for long stretches of the year, making its absence impossible to ignore.

Living through long, dark winters makes you notice light differently. You become aware of how much it shapes our days — and how little we often think about what it is actually doing.

That became the starting point for Karliie: to look closer at light, understand its power, and make that knowledge accessible to everyone.
